Earlier in his career, John held positions in the United States and Europe with organizations including MediaOne Group/US West, Booz Allen and Hamilton, Telecom Ireland, the European Commission, Digital Equipment and Siemens.John has an MBA degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he graduated as an Arjay Miller Scholar, and a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering from University College Dublin, where he graduated with First Class Honors.
