Michael Stoppelman is an active angel/seed investor in Los Angeles. He's the former Senior Vice President of Engineering at Yelp. He started at Yelp as a software engineer working on the search engine. He took over as head engineering in 2012 after serving as a manager and Director of Engineering in the proceeding years. He scaled theengineering team from 30 to over 500 engineers. Prior to Yelp he was a software engineer at Google for 3.5 years and served as the tech lead for the AdSense Traffic Quality team.
